Bankston Lumber Company, founded in 1929, is a successful, family owned building materials organization of dedicated professionals. We conduct business honestly and with integrity. We respect and support each other, our customers, our community and our vendors. We provide building products and value added services while establishing long term relationships with our building contractors, subcontractors, and tradesmen. Where opportunities exist, we offer speciality products and services for consumer, commercial, and governmental customers. We are a member of Lumberman’s Merchandising Corporation, a 2 billion dollar per year buying group. We feature industry leading suppliers such as Marvin windows and doors, James Hardie siding, Owens Corning roofing and insulation, and others. We are an active supporter of our industry.
In 2013, Chuck Bankston served as the Chairman of the board of directors for the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) in Washington, D.C. He is the Past Chairman of the Construction Suppliers Association in Atlanta, Georgia. We also enjoy supporting our local schools and other community organizations.
